Back to basics, back to blogging my progress for motivation!
I'm super excited to be back on track with working out. I went yesterday and joined Planet Fitness, which is probably the best gym I have ever been apart of and it's super cheap. Plus, plus, plus!! I always have a hard time justifying the expense of a gym, but this one is only $10 a month... SAY WHAT?!?!
So anyways, I'll get off the fact that I'm cheap and talk more about the important stuff.
The moment I joined and walked into the gym I had that feeling that I remember from my college days when I used to go to the gym every day for several hours. I used to be a size 3 and 125lbs in college, but it took a lot of dedication to look that way. The feeling I am speaking of is that sense of relief/love/therapy. I knew I was home again. I missed working out at a gym so much over the years!!
The reason I typically join the gym is due to the fact that get extremely motivated away from my house. So much that I can spend hours at a gym and at home I am ready to quit within 30 minutes.
Yesterday I started with alternating running and walking for 20 minutes, then I did this 30 workout station. It incorporates workouts from the Biggest Loser. You do different types of stair steps as your cardio for 60 seconds and then you move to a lifting station for 60 seconds and back to the stair steps. It has a stop light that tells you when to work out and when to stop and move to the next station. It was fun! They also had a 12 minute abs workout that I tried. There's a ton of flab there, so it's a work in progress at this point. I wanted to continue working out, but I needed to go home after being away for 2 hours.
I then came home and did a muffin top melter workout that I found on Pinterest and a few other quick workouts. :)
And today...... I am incredibly sore! Wow, I am out of shape, but I can't wait to go again today!
XOXO

Mid Week Check-in
Holla! I am doing great with the weight loss this WEEK so far...
I am at a 4 lb loss so far with the new diet and the Shred. I am SO sore from the Shred. I usually don't get too excited the first week, because I know it's probably excess water from gorging myself on carbs for weeks and sodium from my lovely Dews.
My large badonkadonk has taken a good hit and is really sore. I had to get my BC shot yesterday in the buttocks and now my left cheek REALLY hurts, but I told myself as I was getting it injected, "no babies, no babies, no babies....." LOL At least not until next year!! Momma needs to get through a wedding and shedmassive amounts of some weight. :)
I am going to try to avoid measuring my inches until my 30 days of Shred is up.
Getting my hair did this evening and I think it's time to go a little darker. I thought about this:
Maybe not that dark, but I love the two colors together. What do you all think? I'm WAY to indecisive, but I need some kind of change for the fall.
Just two more days ladies until the weekend!!

Back to the Bizzzz....
I officially feel "flabby" again even though I have only gained back like 3 pounds and a few inches, but I haven't worked out in about 2 months due to being ridiculously busy and sickness....
I have several workout DVD's and books. One of my hobbies is reading diet fad books just to see what the "big secret" is to them and what they recommend as to how to lose weight. I saw one of my Biggest Loser books and decided to take a peak at it since my workout routine is going to be around the famous Ms. Jillian.
One of my major problems is my diet. I realized over the past 2 months I have fallen back into bad habits... Chocolate everyday at work, Diet Mt. Dew, alcohol, over eating, etc, etc, etc. I am a fatty for a reason.
I think my first major downfall was drinking the diet dew.... Studies show that Diet beverages make you feel hungry, and yes, I totally agree!!! Since I am dedicated to losing this weight, I decided to dropped the dew..... I'm sorry Dew... You know I love you, but you gots to go!!
Secondly, absolutely no more chocolate!!! This should be easy. Chocolate is just like any other addiction I have ever had. If I don't think about it, then I can easy to forget about it. Kind of like all my ex's... It's like they never existed!!!
Oh alcohol..... You marvelous little dirty deed... Luckily, my newest game plan for clean eating by Biggest Loser allows up to 200 calories for "Extras". That's 2 glasses of wine, 1 1/2 bottles of beers, or 2 shots of distilled liquor. I think I am going to start drinking wine more often than beer. I love the taste of beer so much that it is sometimes hard to stop drinking it when I am out with friends.
So here's the pyramid for my food plan:
It's supposed to be all "clean" foods. Preferably fresh fruits and veggies. I am trying to avoid frozen and canned foods, but sometimes that is the easiest with children, chores, and my full time job.
I think the hardest part about this diet will be reducing my whole grains to only 2 servings. I might have to have at least 3 servings.
My goal is to be between 1200-1400 calories everyday.
Yesterday I hit 1408 calories and I felt like I was starving!! I hate the new change of starting a diet. When I eat foods that I don't really like, I seem to notice that I am more hungry on those days. I didn't get to prep my food yesterday. I worked from 7:30am-12:00pm then I was back from 3:00pm-9pm. It's our start week and all of my students were starting yesterday, so I had to be here for majority of the time and I spent my break and the grocery. It seriously felt like the longest day ever. Not to sound dramatic, but it sucked monkey balls that have been dragged through the dirt!
Today I started the famous 30 Day Shred, I also have No More Trouble Zones and 6 pack in 6 weeks. These are all Jillian Michael DVD's. I am going to try to do the shred every day and if I get time do the other programs I will alternate those.

I spent quite a bit of money on small individualized Tupperware, where the sections are the appropriate serving size for meat, fruits, and veggies. Here is my lunch for today. Nothing very special, but the wrap has peppered turkey lunch meat, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and fat free ranch which is wrapped in a 100 calorie tortilla wrap. I also have red grapes, carrots, and cauliflowers.
Ok, here we go, here are my accountability photos and measurements (bare with me, this was early this morning and I had not showered and looked a hot mess, but I don't believe in "looking good" to work out in my own home or at the gym):
I measured today and most of my measurements were the same. I have gained back a few inches in my hips/stomach, I'm sure it's from my badonkadonk.... If you haven't seen my progression photos from this year, then check out the progress I have made so far-here.

I am almost half way through my weight loss journey. I promised myself a 100 lb weight loss. I have lost 36lbs since Feb. this year. I have 64lbs left to lose by May 2013. I hoping that since I took 2 months off, I will hit the ground running and lose quite a bit pretty fast with dedication and hard work.
Wish me luck!

MyFITNESSPal. Motivational Friday. Randomness.
I never realized how difficult it was to actually stay within a value until I started my myfitnesspal account. I not only have 2 numbers to obsess about (calories and my weight), but now I have carbies, protein, and fat grams to play with too.
So, this is my goal per day:
1200 Calories, 165g of Carbs, 40g of Fat,
and 45g of Protein.
It's been near impossible to stay within the limits of my protein!! Every day I go over on Protein and I don't eat that much meat!! I do eat Greek Yogurt just about every day, so I know that it has quite of bit of protein in it.
Anyways, what's fun about the program is that, yes, I have a hard time staying in the values, BUT, it gives me something to strive for. Even going over on numbers, I typically always stay within my calories. It all works itself out. It's a fun little challenge and I'm intrigued with the nutrition data it gives me.
So far this week, I have lost 4 lbs. :) Not too bad.... Not too bad at all!! I've worked out twice and I hope to work out this evening and Saturday as well. Keep your fingers crossed for me, I have a TON to do this weekend, so I hope to get my workouts in.
So, I think I have officially been sparked again on the weight loss front. I am back to drinking water like it's going out of style, even when I'm placed in a social-alcoholic atmosphere. Call me lame, but I am happier losing weight than I am drinking.
Besides, drinking typically only leads to bad decisions for me. I'm a happy drunk and I typically become even more social, flirty, and start hanging on people that I shouldn't be hanging on. I also think I can dance, when I can't.... I have white girl moves that you've never seen!!!!!! Actually, I have big hips, and they don't lie or move that much for what it's worth. I'm a horrible dancer... It's something I would like to work on when I become much thinner than I am now.
This is totally me when it comes to going out with friends. It's something I am trying to look passed. Here lately if I am not having fun, I just go home and my hubs and I have started driving separately:
Not that I get so wasted that I can't remember, but I have squirrel syndrome and I often forget the things I do even when I am sober. It's pretty much ridiculous! When I add any type or volume of alcohol to the mix it gets worse and my attention span is pretty much nonexistent.
SOOOOOOOOO......... Motivation for the weekend, bitches!
I don't know if I will EVER have a midsection like this, but a gal can wish and dream, right??
XOXO,

Burn Out
I can tell that I definitely hit burn out mode on the weight loss front. I've been going at it for about 6 months now and I'm finally just getting tired of being so strict with what I eat and having to work out.
My trend has been, for about 2 months now, to work hard for a bout a week, maybe two, and then careless the following week. My results have just stopped. I'll lose weight the strict weeks and gain it back during the one bad week.
It really gets to the point where you just hate your body. You start to question, your why. Why I decided to lose weight from the beginning, why I work so hard, and why I need to do this. My "why" started with my daughter. She is the reason for me wanting to be thinner and feel better about myself. Of course, I do enjoy all the comments about how far I have came and how much better I look too.
I'm finally just to the point where I feel comfortable in my own skin. I know I still have a long way to go, but I don't feel like there is a rush anymore.
I think I finally hit burn out from both the hard core work outs and the healthy eating. Lately, I haven't had time to workout. Work has been a complete mad house, Brynn is constantly on the go now that she is walking, and my photography business has picked up. I did photos last week and I have appts the next two weeks as well. Editing photos takes up SO much time. It's no wonder it cost $300+ from the professionals.
I've actually decided to drop out as a Beachbody coach. I haven't had the time to dedicate to it AND the time I do dedicate to it seems to be wasted. In the beginning, I would take 30 mins to an hour with people, just talking to them about the programs. The answer always seemed to be, "I am definitely going to do it next pay day". Then, next pay day comes and they still haven't bought anything OR they end up buying it from ebay, amazon, or have it burnt off the Internet. It's frustrating! I would take my time that I should have been working out or spending time with Brynnie with these people and yet, they would never follow through with me. It got to the point where I realized that I couldn't keep buying new Beachbody programs just to stay active as a coach. We live paycheck to paycheck unfortunately, and that extra money is always needed for my kiddos. For instance, Brynn needs a convertible seat now and that's where my extra money is going next pay day.
I think their programs are ALL fabulous and I swear by them, but people these days want a miracle diet and/or pill. No one wants to work out. Heck, if it wasn't for my kiddos, I would be working out all the time. I miss having the freedom to go to the gym for hours at a time.
Regardless, I think I just need to go back to simple for a while. Diet comes first (Weight Watchers), and try to work out at least 3 times a week and more if time allows it!!
Keeping it simple for a while. Let's see how that goes. :)

C25K: Week 1 Day 3
I woke up this morning bright and early at 6 am and I was scared my knee was going to bother me, but it didn't. It felt much better. On the other hand I stepped out of my bed and couldn't walk, because my calve muscle was as hard as a rock. It literally felt like an anchor that was weighing me down. I debated if I was even going to run today. I hopped back into bed thinking I would just do a Turbo workout this morning and fell back to sleep until 8:30 when Brynnie woke.
I got up and still the calve muscle was bothering me. What I found weird was it's just in my left leg-opposite of the knee that was bothering me. I must have put more pressure into the run with my left legs since my right knee was killing me.
I did my usual routine, fed Brynn, and all that jazz. I got ready to do some kind of work out and as I was stretching my legs I decided I could run. I broke out the good ol' treadmill and did it. I HATE treadmills! I enjoy running so much more, because I don't focus on my time I have left while running. It wasn't dreadful, because it was only 30 mins, but I did stare at my time the entire time and I couldn't wait for it to end. I did have a better time with my knee since the treadmill has the shock resistance to it.
So, I did it! I completed day 3 with a smile on my face! :) WHOO-RAH!

C25K Week 1 Day 2
In my akwardness, I decided to do a video this morning while I was making my drive to work, and yes, both my hands were on the wheel while I was driving!
Skinny Gal.... Somewhere.
Week 1, Day1 of C25K
Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle.....
That is the first thing that I noticed as I started running. I was jiggling everywhere.
I have came a LONG way so far this year. I have lost a total of 36lbs and 42". THAT'S A LOT! Not as much as I could have done without having the responsibilities that I currently have.
A little history about Mrs. SGS. In High School I was heavy. My first boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me over a girl that had just moved into town and was tall, pretty, and thin. It was heart breaking. I decided I needed to make a change. I lost 60 lbs in a very short amount of time. I played soccer for my H.S. soccer team and I would come home from practice and continue to work out. I loved how fast the results showed. I remained real thin until I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease in 2006 and had to have my thyroid eliminated. In the year and a half that it took to get my thyroid regulated by Synthyroid, I gained 100 lbs. I let my weight set until I got pregnant with my daughter last year 2011. I realized that I would never be able to run around with her in the back yard. So, after I had her, I decided I had to make serious changes again AND for good!
My daughter is the reason I breath healthier now. She is my WORLD completely. I still have a long way to go, but it's always a work in progress.
So, anyways, Week 1 Day 1 of C25K wasn't too bad. Getting past the JIGGLE was the hardest part. I felt my saddle bags around my hips and rear really jiggling more than anything, but that's ok, because one of these days, I won't have to battle this bulge anymore.
The first week I believe starts you out on a 5 min. warm up, and 8 intervals of running for 60 seconds and walking 90 seconds and a 5 min. cool down.
Random change of subject:
I found out on Saturday that I will be in my brother's wedding in Sept. 2013 as a bridesmaid, so that means I still have 70 lbs to lose before that date. Should be cake, right???

A Change??
It's a secret, but I'm changing my diet completely. I am still going to focus on doing Weight Watcher points still, but I am going at it from a different aspect. I want to see how well I do with it before I praise it. :)
It's going to be tough though. No sugars, no caffeine, a GALLON of water a day, etc. It's worth a try right?
I slightly feel sorry for my husband, because I get super cranky without caffeine, but I did it for 14+ months when I was pregnant with Brynn and breastfeeding, so I know that I can do it now. I actually don't know why I even started back. I guess adding in work with a 3 month old was so tiring that I felt I needed coffee.
I am currently drinking 3 cups of coffee a day, so it'll be hard to eliminate it!!
There's more to the concept than I am actually revealing. An acquaintance of mine is super thin, fit and absolutely gorgeous, so I asked her for tips with my diet. I had told her that her shape is what I am striving for, so I really wanted to know what her secret was.
Here's Lacey and her cute little body shape, she's being silly in this one:
Ugh, the girl is gorgeous! I can't hate though, she's in the gym every day and has worked hard for her shape.
So, on to Saturday Motivation since I missed it for Friday. I can't wait to go to the Fresh Market after work to get all the food I need for my new concepts.
Here's a midsection I would love to have:
I'm definitely putting MORE focus on my eating than working out the next couple of weeks to see how things change.
Wish me luck!

GOALS REVIEWED!
I have absolutely GREAT news! I FINALLY BROKE 200 LBS! I weighed in at 199.5 lbs this morning!!
I didn't take a picture of it, because my husband was taking a shower while I weighed myself and I didn't want him thinking I was a weirdo. :) I will take a picture sometime this week as proof.
See, there is a method to my madness!!!! That is why I chose to take a week's vacation from losing weight. :)
So, since I finally reached my goal of breaking 200 lbs, I wanted to review all my goals again to see where I am at and what I have left to accomplish.

So, since I finally reached my goal of breaking 200 lbs, I wanted to review all my goals again to see where I am at and what I have left to accomplish.
· Lose my first 10 lbs. – COMPLETED!
· Get under pre-baby wt. - COMPLETED!
· Weigh in under 200 lbs - COMPLETED!
· Weigh in at 175 lbs
· Weigh in at 150lbs
· Reach the BMI for my height and weight
· Run a 5K
· Run a half marathon.
So, I have officially lost 35 lbs. I haven't measured in weeks because every time I measured the past month it was always the same--37 1/2". I may have lost a 1/2 in the waist.
Regardless of the inches lost, I am still showing progress. I am now down to a size 14, which is the AVERAGE size for a female in America. I'm finally average again!! I can't wait to be less than average!!
I have now gone from a size 22 to a 14. Do you count that as 8 pant sizes or 4? I say 4, but 8 sounds phenomenal!
It's a great day, I hope everyone else is having a good week!

I officially hate my body! End of Story.
As a life long dieter, I have came across many frustrating times where I want to just scream at my scale and/or maybe possibly throw it against the wall. Really though, the scale isn't the issue, it's this freaking fat suit that I have been blessed with. Even though I absolutely love all kinds of food, I slightly blame genetics for not giving me that body type that doesn't have to worry about their weight.
You know those girls, who-for whatever reason are just naturally thin???
Yeah, I hate you.....
I have struggled my entire life with my weight. I can eat healthy and do all the right things and STILL, I struggle with the bulge. IT. IS. EXHAUSTING!
It's gotten even more exhausting since I have had my thyroid removed AND had my first child. I use to drop weight so quickly and now, it's at a pace of a snail. Even more frustrating!
So Thursday I weigh in at 200.2 lbs. This IS the thinnest I have been in 6 years. I thought, FRIDAY will be the day I finally kick 200 lbs, and NEVER look back. I wake up this morning after staying within the limits of my weight watchers points and working out for 45 mins to TF 45 FIRE class, and I weigh in at 201 lbs. WTF?
Are you freaking kidding me? How? Just how?
I divorced my body this morning. We are no longer friends! Stupid piece..... I know I am being silly, but, seriously??
We all hit that wall where we are completely disappointed on the weight loss front. Today is that day for me. I work hard, I mean the Turbo Fire workouts are NOT easy. So then, I have expectations. High expectations.
It absolutely better happen by Monday,,,,, OR ELSE!!
ON A POSITIVE NOTE:
Here is some additional motivation for myself and others for the weekend:

ON A POSITIVE NOTE:
- My father and mother said that I looked thinner last night even though I can't seem to beat 200 lbs.
- A coworker told me that I ABSOLUTELY don't look like I weigh 200 lbs. or anywhere near it. It made my day!
Here is some additional motivation for myself and others for the weekend:
I am at a loss for words with this gals rear. Wow. Maybe after Brazilian Butt Lift I will have that!!
I am thinking about adding this to my routine next week:

It's all about COMMITMENT! -Progression photos
My mind is completely blown from my newest progression photos. I have had some loss, but not as much as the first 30 days.
I have had a great week on the weight loss front-THIS WEEK! I have finally made my mind up that either I am going to do this or I just need to quit. Well, I decided I needed to do it and refocus on what is important! I am here to tell you, you can be a work out fool all week, burn calories like crazy, and just one "cheat" day can destroy your entire week.
CALORIES EATEN VS. CALORIES BURNT.
I saw this DOVE wrapper and LOVED IT. How true is that? When we're on a diet, it's all we talk/hear about, but when we're not, IT IS ON! It's such an intangible little shit that we're only aware of when we start looking at our love handles.
Actually, starting last week I decided to quit drinking and I have had such a better progress since doing so.
Is it a BIG commitment? Absolutely!
Does everyone think I am a big ol' lame bird? Pretty much!
Do I sit at home and dream about the fun I could be having while being out with friends on a Saturday night? Yep.
But, that's what REALLY makes the difference.
COMMITMENT!
I was in this 3-4 week spiral to where I would lose 2-4lbs Monday-Friday and then Saturday night drinking would take me right back where I started.
So, to say the least, I am surprise that I had any progress to show. I have now went 60 days on Turbo Fire. Here are the best photos (Before: this is the start of TF, Middle: 30 days, and End: 60 days):
Now that I have quit drinking, you are going to be so AMAZED with the progress next month. I can't wait!!!
Eating Healthy 101 Food Example #1
I often get asked what exactly it is that I eat through out the day. I plan on starting to post a meal once a week to give everyone an example of what I eat for individuals that may not be used to eating well or dieting.
This is what I ate from this morning:
This is what I ate from this morning:
Scrambled Eggs- 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites, 1 TBLS of dry Basil, and a handful of fresh Spinach.
How to cook eggs: 1. Rub in olive oil in a non-stick skillet just so the eggs don't stick. 2. Scramble your egg, egg whites, and Basil. 3. Cook in the skillet until eggs start to form and toss in the spinach until completely cooked.
Fresh Strawberries- 1 cup
8 oz. of H20
My breakfast totalled a big 5 WW points plus and was super filling!!
By the way, I learned that Basil is a great replacement for salt and pepper on eggs after reading the O2 Diet. One of my hobbies back in the day was to read Fad diet books. Of course, this was before I had my daughter, and well, now I have NO time to read a book.
The O2 Diet was actually one of my favorite reads out of the bunch. It taught me so much about antioxidants and how important they are in your body. The scrambled eggs recipe, which is super simple, is actually found in the O2 Diet recipes.
Some great seasonings on the ORAC chart are:
- Ground Cinnamon
- Basil
- Oregano
- Rosemary
- Thyme
So, I usually try to use these seasoning on anything I make. Spinach is also high on the ORAC charts. You can find ORAC values- HERE, the higher the value, the better the food. Spices usually rank high, so use those spices instead of salt and pepper!!

Beachbody Challenge Group
I am leading a Beachbody Challenge group starting July 1st.
What is a Challenge group?
A Challenge group is a group of 5-10 individuals who are looking to start a Beachbody program at the same time. The group setting is to help people stay committed to and hold everyone accountable to completing a program and getting results.
A Challenge pack comes with a month supply of Shakeology (best meal replacement on the market in my opinion), a Beachbody program of your choice and a month's membership to the Beachbody website, so that you can stay plugged in to the Beachbody world.
Here are the different Challenge packs (Click on the picture if you have a hard time reading and it should blow up bigger):

Here is a cool comparison chart of the different protein shakes on the market (Click on the picture if you have a hard time reading and it should blow up bigger):
Here are the results I have had with Beachbody:
I wish I had a full body BEFORE picture, but I only took pictures from the chest up. I have now lost 33lbs, lost 38" all around, went from a size 22 pant size to 14/16 and went from a 42 DD to a 36-38 C/D.
I had beer boobs, so I was happy to eliminate some of that. A "C" cup is much more comfortable and better for my back.
So there ya have it. I have been doing TurboFire for 2 months now. I am continuing the program until Aug 1st, in which I am switching to ChaLEAN Extreme. I do the chocolate shake-o, which is fabulous every morning. My weight loss journey is really just starting, I still have about 60lbs to lose. Every day I keep at it though and keep chipping it away.
So, who are the lucky individuals wanting to join my Challenge group? There are two ways to join. You can add me as a friend on FB at this link- HOLLA! and shoot me a message. You can also comment below with your email and I will follow up with you with the full information on how to sign up.
JULY 1st people! You'll need to get on it and purchase a Challenge Pack in the next week to start. My recommendations would be TurboFire, Brazilian Butt Lift, or Insanity.
XOXO

It's Friday Bitches!
This is so TRUE->
I have a Sally Sailor mouth, but I try to refrain while I am blogging.
I really have no plans, which sounds absolutely fabulous to me this weekend.
I believe I am going to have some GREAT news for my weight loss blogger peeps on Monday!!! I am a pound from being under 200lbs. Yes, that may not sound like a big deal for most, but it happens to be my next LARGE goal to surpass!! I am definitely taking a picture of my scale on Monday if it says 199lbs.
I have pushed it REALLY hard this week and as long as I can stay focused this weekend I can achieve it. So, here are the workouts that I have done this week.
Sunday: TurboFire 55 EZ- This is 55 mins of pure cardio
Monday: I had to take off for my Hubs actual day of birth.
Tuesday: TurboFire Tone 30 and Core 20
Wednesday: TurboFire 30 FIRE (Intense Cardio) class with my weighted gloves and Abs 10
Thursday: TurboFire 60 FIRE class-This is 60 mins of INTENSE cardio, Chalene says it equals out to running 6-7 miles. I'm always so proud for completing it. It's only the second time I have tried it.
Friday: Tonight I am probably going to do Turbo's Circuit Burner 1 and Core 20
Saturday: I have plans to do one of the cardio classes, it will either be 45 EZ or 55 EZ depending on my time available.
Sunday: I might take a day break on Sunday away from TurboFire and hit the pavement. We'll see!!
So there ya have it. I am fully committed again. So much that I decided that I was going to quit drinking for a while. It's the true beast as to why I haven't had any results in about 3-4 weeks. I have teeter tottered from 203-205 for about a month now. As hard as it is, I am going to order some good ol' H20 from now on instead of that golden delish when I am at a bar.
Call me lame, I don't care!
There are really 2 things that truly make me happy--1st being my daughter who turns a big 9 months old today. I will have her update next week sometime, she is doing so many new things!!! And secondly, losing weight makes me super happy. I want to beat these horrible genetics that I have been blessed with.
So, who's motivated this week other than myself???? Here is my motivation for the week:
AND THE BODY OF CUTENESS FOR THE DAY!!!! I WANT THAT.... HOT BIOTCH! I will add this to my wish list once my body looks that good:
- Rock in a bikini beside a lake while hula hooping... Found-- here (I don't know anyone that would do this, but this girl did, she looks hot, and well-- I want that to be me)!
- Walk around in my boy underwear and a tight short t-shirt around my house. I suppose I could occasionally pull up the shirt and look at my abs like this lady... lol Hey, if you got it, flaunt it!!!
Have a great weekend!

Weight Watchers Points Plus
Have you ever wanted to do Weight Watchers, but didn't have the money to do it?
The great thing about technology these days is that you can essentially do Weight Watchers for free with all the information on the web that has leaked from the actual Weight Watchers website.
Today I am going to provide all my little cheats that I have found over the past 6 months.
(Fat (g) / 3.8889) + (Carbohydrate (g) / 9.2105) + (Protein (g) / 10.9375) - (Fiber (g) / 12.5)
The great thing about technology these days is that you can essentially do Weight Watchers for free with all the information on the web that has leaked from the actual Weight Watchers website.
Today I am going to provide all my little cheats that I have found over the past 6 months.
The best tool I have found to help me track everything is the App on my phone called Ultimate Weight Watchers Diary. The icon for the app should look like this:
If you hate buying apps like I do, you might cringe at the $3.99 cost to purchase this tool. This is a ONE time fee and it is the BEST purchase you will make if you want to be committed to doing the Weight Watchers plan.
Here's what this nifty app does for you:
- It will calculate your daily allowance and provide you with the amount of points you need
- It has a diary to where you can keep track of your food intake and exercise routine
- It will calculate a food that you need to know the points for by inputting the fat grams, carb grams, protein grams, and fiber per serving
- It already has most foods in the search portion for the diary, so that you don't have to calculate them very often
- If you download the bar code scanner app, you can scan your label for quick input of foods
- It has a separate page where you can keep track of you daily intakes of water, fruits, vegetables, milk, and daily vitamins to help you strive for all your helpings in these areas
- You can keep track of you body measurements and weight to see your progress every week
It's pretty much flippin' amazing!!!! I have an Android (I don't think that this is available for Iphone users), but I am sure there is one that is very similar to this one for the Iphone.
So, if you can't use an app to calculate your daily allowance, this would be your first step.
You can calculate that here.
With the new Points Plus program, you are usually given an amount of DAILY points and 49 WEEKLY points just in case you go over your daily usage. What I have noticed, is that the weeks I use only my daily allowance, I lose anywhere from 2-5lbs depending on my activity. If I use all of my weekly and daily points I usually lose anywhere from 1-2lbs. I am happy with ANY kind of loss, but I typically like seeing the 2+ weight loss for the week.
If you don't have a nice little app to calculate your foods, then you would need to either calculate them yourself with this equation: Points Plus =
OR visit the Weight Watcher's calculator page for FREE- here.
Now, if you don't have a diary app, then you would need to write your points down in some kind of journal OR find an app that has just the diary for free (there are several out there that you can choose from).
I can now share with you all the websites I use for recipes and the points for fast foods and such. My favorite website for looking up Plus Points on restaurants and fast food establishments is Dotti's Website. She has dedicated an entire website to Weight Watcher's Points and has just about every national food establishment on there. You can check out her website-here.
If you run into a restaurant that is not on her web page, then I usually resort to looking up the website to that particular restaurant and finding the nutritional info page and calculating out what I ate from there.
Lastly, here are my favorite sites for recipes:
Hopefully, this was helpful to the individuals looking to start dieting through Weight Watchers. I did Weight Watchers the first part of the year and lost 20lbs and 17". Since doing that I have done Beachbody and calorie counting and I have lost another 12lbs and 22". Today I started doing both, so we'll see how the results go doing two awesome programs!!

Mo-tiv-a-tion! TGIF
I am SO freakin' excited it's Friday!
Not that I don't have to work tomorrow (because I DO), but at least management will be gone! Ding-Dong the bitch is gone. :)
So, here's what has happened since Monday. Really the most exciting portion is that I think I found a new job if they can pay me enough. I had an interview yesterday and it sounded pretty promising, AND I have a second interview next week. It will still be in sales and I will still have to work every other Saturday, but at least I would work 7-5pm and be at home M-F by 5:15pm!!!! It would be the FIRST job that I have had where I would have that typical 8am-5pm type job and feel NORMAL. I always get so jealous of people going home for the day when I am usually on my lunch break.
Any who, it will be a nice change!
Yesterday I had a day off and MOMMA AND BRYNNIE WENT SHOPPING! I bought my first pair of SKINNY JEANS! I tried them on just to see what they would look like and DAMN, I thought they looked good, so they were in my bag. Skinny jeans for the aspiring Skinny Gal. It definitely made my day! Plus, I bought all size 16's. When I started this journey in Feb I was a size 20-sometimes 22.
I am ONE size from being the national average size for a female! My ultimate goal is a size 8, so I have a ways to go still.
The best things about this weekend:
I haven't done well with dieting, partially because I think my lady parts are taking over my cravings and such this week along with some bloating. I have been so hungry this week..... I am probably going to end up maintaining for the week. Which is fine with me. So, in light of the occasion, here is a funny photo I found.

The best things about this weekend:
- IT'S FLIPPIN' PAY DAY!!!
- Even though I have to work on Saturday, I get Sunday and Monday off. WHOO-HOO-2 days off in a role.
- Shawn and I are having a date night on Saturday and we talked like we were going to go see The Avengers (My inner nerd is dying to come out) and then we're going to have some adult time with friends at a bar somewheres.
- I may end up at the KY lake this weekend with family on Sunday or Monday.
- I am buying Brynn's first bathing suit today.
- I'm buying a new bathing suit for myself... EEEK! My suit from last year is literally falling off my body.
- I also got an invite to hang at my besties pool at some point if I don't plan on going to the lake.

And some hotness and the most motivating words I hear occasionally:
Have a GREAT Holiday weekend!
